Walt Disney Meets Salvador Dali

In 1946 Walt Disney met with Salvador Dali to create this amazing short film called Destino. The film combines a series of surreal scenes to tell the story of Chronos, the personification of time and his inability to realize his desire to love a mortal.

Enjoy :-)

Death to Internet Explorer 6!!!

Microsoft is finally taking an active approach to ridding the world of IE6. This abomination of a browser for some odd read had been cemented into business computing for the past 10 years! It's buggy and doesn't support many great improvements to the web. Yet because many IT departments are too lazy to upgrade all their staff laptops we as developers have been forced to bend our minds backwards to support them. Visit the source link below and find out how you do your part to help rid the world of Internet Explorer 6.

Augmented Reality Projection Lenses

I've been waiting and hoping for a future like this for a very long time! I can't wait to see these hit the retail shelf. I'm interested as to how gaming will feel through these.

The one note that is total bullshit is the idea that you could be in a meeting and no one would know that you're not paying attention. They are about as deceiving as these were back in the 80s.

Unroll.me

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to set this up with my e-mail. Especially around the holidays the amount of junk mail I get is ridiculous.

I wonder why Google didn't just have this already built into gmail...

They haven't launched yet but check out the source link below to sign up and get an invite.

Toyota Yaris Commercial

You probably won't see me driving a Yaris but I still get a good laugh out of their commercials.

At least they're not trying to be as serious as KIA was...Remember these ads?

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! Makes me laugh every time....

The Pyro Board

This is sooo Cool!!! What an Idea! I would like to see this doing more photographic images but this is still VERY impressive as-is.

First half of the video is how-to setup. Skip to 1:25 to just see it in action.

What A Wonderful World

This video is So awe inspiring it sends chills of joy down my back. The voice over by David Attenborough is such a great touch. I think Louis Armstrong is a little overused at this point. Music aside the video shots are so stunning it's a shame I spend so much of my life in front of a computer screen.

I really gotta get out more...

Christmas for Presents

This Christmas illustration done by Rob Sheridan titled "Presents Opening Children" is great! I always wondered what a horrific image it would be if Trees used us as paper. I guess it might be a little like this...

Nokia HumanForm Cell Phone Concept

Nokia would like to remind you that they haven't lost hope to the large Android Power House phones and they are thinking past that. In this video Nokia shows you what the future of cell phones could look like. We already have multitouch flex screens so this isn't that far off.

The future looks so amazing!

PlayStation Store's Movie Experience

At least this is what they want you to think it feels like. Sony Europe put together these 3 short web videos using nothing but practical effects to create the experience. Spandex Actors not included.

First RC Car to Reach 100 MPH!

Santa are you getting this?!?! I've never been more excited for an RC car in my life. The difficult part would be finding a place to play with it.

It's estimated to cost $1099. Get the full specs at the source link.

Patton Oswalt - Black Angus Steak House

This skit brings me to tears with so much laughter. I feel like I've done 1,000 situps by the time the video is done! One of my students showed this to me in class and I JUST DIED!!!

Don't say I didn't warn you...

The visuals really hit the messaging... cudos to the video creator Valmost1978.

Your Dungeon My Dragon

A buddy of mine who I used to work with at Microsoft built the website and the mini games for Your Dungeon My Dragon. If you are familiar with the show Code Monkeys this show is by the same creator and one of the characters is played by the same guy who did the voice for Master Shake on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. If you don't know any of the references I just made you have a lot of nerd-dom to catch up on. Needless to day this show is getting off to a GREAT start! You must watch it!!

Check out the site to play some awesome retro mini games featuring the characters from the show!
